Welcome at our Texel-based Bed-no-Breakfast „De Kapitein“.
There are 3 rooms available in our bed-no-breakfast. Rooms “Anker”, “Bakboord” and “Stuurboord” Accommodate up to 6 guests. Depending on availability, a third bed can be added to room “het Anker”. From May 2024 we also have a restyled caravan “Caravan Zee” for 3 people available.
We do not serve breakfast, but the common room is equipped with all the amenities (plates, microwave/baking oven, egg cooker) to prepare a delicious breakfast yourself. In sunny weather you can enjoy your own terrace. De Kapitein’s spacious garden is even suitable for a nice football game. You can use the herb/tea garden free of charge.
A baby cot can be added to the rooms for a small fee. We also have toys and a high chair available.
The rooms in De Kapitein are not suitable for pets. Our caravan “Zee” has space for a maximum of 2 small dogs.

Bed no Breakfast de Kapitein is located in ’t Horntje on the island’s main street. 1.6 km from the Texel – Den Helder ferry route and 5 km from Den Burg. Ecomare and the Texel Dunes National Park are 10 km away.
De Kapitein has free WiFi. All rooms have a terrace overlooking the garden and a parking space.The rooms also feature a TV and a private bathroom with a luxury rain shower, hairdryer and toiletries. In addition, all rooms have a refrigerator, a combination microwave, a Nespresso machine and a kettle.
The Mokbaai and Hors nature reserves are nearby and offer numerous cycling and hiking opportunities.
